The Beaver Project

During second year of university we were tasked with a client based project to raise awareness of reintroducing beavers to Cornwall. We were able to visit the beaver sanctuary to gain insight into how beavers live and communicate directly with the client to ensure we were working with them to create their vision. We made reference to Aardmans Creature comforts for the style of our film.

As the producer of this film, it was a great pleasure to work with like minded and hard working students. Holding weekly meetings, updating tracking charts and creating other necessary documents were just a few of the regular tasks I completed during the production of this film. I was also able to get hands on with the project and participate in animation during the in-between, clean up and colour stages. Working with a client was a great experience, we were able to build a good rapport by ensuring communication was always clear and concise. Keeping the client updated regularly was of great importance to allow feedback during the progression of the film.
